CONGRATULATIONS
Last year several of our students entered a short story contest representing GSFCA. Using 100 words or less they had to write a fantasy, to go along with a particular theme and the picture you see on the cover of the book. The winners would have their stories published in the book “Crazy Creatures”.
Out of thousands of entries from all over the state of Ohio, only 145 stories were chosen. We were notified that one of our students, Jonias Clinton (currently in 5th grade) was one of the students whose story was chosen to be published!

Franklin County Judge Kimberly Cocroft and student Kameron Bolton (Kameron Khronicles Book) support academy fundraiser.
Black History Memory Making Moment:
The 3rd - 6th grade students had the pleasure to meet Lynda Blackmon Lowery, the youngest person recorded in history to have marched from Selma to Montgomery in 1965. She has written a book titled "Turning 15 On The Road To Freedom".
Truly an eye opening experience and to have their copy of her book signed by her was an added blessing.
